Everland, a famous place for autumn leaves in the Seoul metropolitan area, has unveiled a maple course that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages.
Currently, Everland has tens of thousands of trees of more than 10 species, including autumn leaves, ginkgo, and elbows, and flowers such as marigolds and cocchia, which are colored in five colors, giving off autumnal mood, and autumn leaves are expected to peak from late October to early November.
The largest ginkgo tree forest in Korea, which was first opened to the public last year, will be introduced to Everland Garden Pass subscribers for four days from November 7 to 10 this fall.
Located at the foot of Hyangsusan Mountain in Shinwon-ri, near Everland, the ginkgo tree forest was so popular that all tickets were sold out within two minutes of the start of the recruitment last fall, and satisfaction peaked amid favorable reviews from customers who visited the site.
Everland Ginkgo Tree Forest, which was built on a scale of about 150,000 square meters (4.5 million pyeong), has about 30,000 ginkgo trees planted for reforestation in the 1970s.
It is famous for boasting the best scenery by preserving its natural, beautiful and secret appearance because it has not been reached by humans for more than half a century.
The about 4km trekking course, which is designed to fully experience the ginkgo forest, is equipped with wooden chairs, meditation halls, hammocks, and observation decks so that you can feel the calm and healing of nature at the same time throughout the trekking.
This fall’s ginkgo tree forest experience will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis for garden pass subscribers on the Everland website, and a total of 600 people can participate, 150 people a day, for four days from November 7 to 10.
There will also be a special healing program to enjoy nature, such as forest commentary by forest healing experts, reading and meditation time enjoyed with tea.
Everland is operating the country’s first garden subscription service “Garden Pass” that allows visitors to experience new plant content every month by connecting Mother Nature infrastructure such as flowers, forests, and gardens along with the free use of theme parks.
The reservation schedule for Ginkgo Tree Forest will be announced on the Everland website.
You can experience a variety of colorful fall foliage in Everland, where autumn festivals are currently in full swing.
More than 10,000 trees, including plum and arrow trees, are colored with autumn colors and form a colorful maple tunnel on the 1km trail of Haneul Garden Road, which is considered Everland’s representative path.
Cocchia (Dapsari), which is earlier in autumn than other plants, is now showing off its red appearance at its peak, making it perfect for taking pictures of autumn emotions.
Four Seasons Garden, which has been transformed into a fantasy novel “The Wizard of Oz,” has about 10 million autumn flowers in full bloom, including marigolds, sunflowers, and silver grass, making it perfect to enjoy the autumn atmosphere with Oz content.
There is also an attraction course where you can feel autumn while riding thrilling rides.
Thunder Falls, covered with dense forest of trees on all sides, can enjoy beautiful autumn leaves while riding a rapid stream, and T-Express offers a beautiful view of Everland’s autumn at the top of 56m above the ground.
The 5km-long driveway from Masungtolgate to the main gate of Everland is famous for its autumnal atmosphere in the car as it runs up, down, left and right along the mountainside.
