GreenWood Family Park, in Y Felinheli, has welcomed three new alpacas.

From this week, children aged four and over can meet, feed, and walk one of GreenWood’s new furry friends – offering them a brand-new experience, never before seen at the 17-acre sustainable theme park.

Qhari, Pasha and Simba are all just under one year old.

Each alpaca will take part in three walks per day, meaning nine slots will be bookable daily.

Chris Jones, General Manager of GreenWood Family Park, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome GreenWood’s newest residents – Qhari, Pasha and Simba – to the park. Alpacas are gentle, friendly animals and a fantastic way to help children build confidence around larger animals, especially thanks to their calm nature and love of treats.

“Providing sustainable, fun and meaningful experiences is at the heart of everything we do.

“This new activity brings our young guests even closer to nature in a way that’s both engaging and wonderfully calming – they really are the perfect fit for GreenWood.”

For the Festival of Fun, the park will be dressed for ‘festival vibes’, and children (and adults) can get creative with glitter hair, festival braids, colour sprays, and by making their own flower crown or butterfly wings.
