The weather might be getting colder and wetter, but don’t let that put you off visiting Gulliver’s Land Theme Park Resort.
Having been open since 1999, the popular Milton Keynes attraction – located just over an hour’s drive from the county – has been delivering good old fashioned fun for all the family for 25 years.
And, with its Fright Fiesta having launched ahead of Halloween 2025, now is the perfect time to visit.
Immediately after stepping through the gates, guests are greeted by spooky decor and creepy characters, including a scientist keen to swap brains with unsuspecting passersby, as well as the theme park’s iconic animal favourites).

Twisted to suit the season, the street parade and Gully & Gilly Meet and Greet in the Main Square gets everyone singing along, dancing and putting their arms in the air as Leonard the Lion raps from a balcony with an Eminem-style flow.
By way of introduction to the day’s fun and festivities, it’s an immersive way to get people (many of which sport ghoulish fancy dress) in the spirit.
After the park is declared officially open, the action moves to the Haunted Mansion, whose decorations include pumpkin-painted tyres and a swinging skeleton. Later, a live performance there leads to a mass rendition of Lady Gaga’s ‘The Dead Dance’ routine.
All this – plus a singalong-filled end of day show featuring a lonely ghost – serves to create a lively, festival-style atmosphere brimming with colour, costumes, and music.

Onto the easy to navigate attractions (which appeal to adults just as much as they do children, particularly the JCB Zone) and many of them naturally suit the hair-raising energy.
Navigating the upside down house’s interior – including a head-in-the-toilet photo opportunity – is incredibly surreal, while the stomach-churning 360-degree Dragon Siege ride is made for thrill-seeking youngsters, and the Grand Prix Racers rollercoaster is definitely one for adrenaline junkies.

Meanwhile, for younger visitors, there’s the Tiny Tots play area, which boasts an inflatable hamster wheelchair, pirate ship, and palm tree with hanging branch balls to swing on. With its different themed areas, The Gully Town Soft Play is great fun – and perfect for rainy days
That’s not all the fun to be had though: in the evening, there’s the Land of Lights Lantern Festival featuring dazzling installations and magical scenes ranging from dinosaurs and animals to mythical creatures.
With log flumes and water slides to boot, Gulliver’s might be on the traditional side –
but that’s what makes it such a charming day out for all the family.
