Air China this month is adjusting service to North Korea, after it resumed Beijing Capital – Pyongyang flight for the first time in 6 years on 30MAR26.

From 06APR26 to 20APR26, the 1 weekly flight is cancelled. The Star Alliance member intends to resume this route on 27APR26 at the earliest, although reservations are not available on the airline’s mainland China website, for the remainder of summer season.

Despite the closure of booking, at time this post goes to press, Air China’s websites outside of China is showing flights available for reservations on 27APR26 (screenshot 1 below).

The airline’s schedule currently lists 1 weekly flight with 737-700 aircraft.

Second screenshot below displays Air China’s website bookings for Pyongyang is showing as “sold out” (in GDS, all fare classes are zero’d out for flights on/after 04MAY26), as of 0219GMT 07APR26. As of 0600GMT, reservations for all flights on/after 04MAY26 are showing available for reservations in GDS (Sabre, Amadeus), although the airline’s mainland China website continues to show flights not available for reservations.
