In Entrecampos train station, passengers were left stunned, by 5:35 pm, after the Alfa Pendular train failed to stop in the designated station. 

The high-speed train was meant to stop on Line 4 by 5:35 pm, but the passengers were not able to enter or leave the train, as the Alfa Pendular did not stop in Entrecampos. After a while, the services on Line 4 were still continuing, and passengers were left stranded, without being informed of other alternatives.

Commuters on site confirmed to The Portugal News that the incident has, in fact, happened. And by the time of the publication of this story, the passengers were put in a different train to Pragal station, where the runaway train would be waiting for the affected passengers.

By the time of the publication of this article, CP had not yet issued any public explanation about the incident.
