Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will start a new once-a-week flight between Karachi and Riyadh beginning January 2, 2026, expanding its Saudi Arabia network.
The national carrier already operates flights to Riyadh from Islamabad and Lahore. According to the schedule, Flight PK729 will depart Karachi every Friday at 8:45 PM on an Airbus A320 and land in Riyadh at 10:45 PM after a four-hour journey.
The return flight, PK730, will leave Riyadh early Saturday at 12:05 AM and arrive in Karachi at 5:10 AM after a flight time of three hours and five minutes.
PIA officials said the new connection aims to facilitate business travelers, expatriate workers, and families frequently traveling between Karachi and the Saudi capital. The airline continues to adjust its network as part of efforts to improve international connectivity and restore customer confidence.
