NEW YORK- A Delta Air Lines (DL) passenger traveling from Tampa International Airport (TPA) to New York City (NYC) was left in tears after reading a text message written about her by the man seated beside her.

Delta Passenger Breaks Down Over Cruel Text
The passenger, Vanessa, was seated in the middle seat on the Delta flight when she noticed the man in the window seat sigh and roll his eyes as she approached. Shortly after sitting down, she glanced at his phone and saw a message reading, Ugh, HUGE woman sat next to me.
Vanessa later explained that the phone screen was directly in her line of sight. The message deeply affected her, especially after recently losing more than 60 pounds and regaining confidence about flying in a middle seat.
During the flight, she recorded herself visibly emotional, describing feelings of being trapped and humiliated for the duration of the journey. She chose not to confront the passenger, fearing escalation or removal from the aircraft.
