Four investment groups have submitted offers for the only serviced beach available for development in the Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni Municipality on Athens’ southern coast.
The bids were opened on Wednesday during a meeting of the tenders committee of the Hellenic Public Properties Company (HPPC) for a 20-year concession of “Akti Vouliagmenis,” the most popular serviced beach on the so-called Athenian Riviera.
Located 25 km from central Athens, the beach attracted roughly 420,000 visitors last year and brought in estimated revenues of €3.2 million in 2022.
The interested parties, listed in order of submission, are: Fais Group, the Evergood–Gevsinus Consortium, the Reds–Aegean Warehouses Consortium and Air Canteen.
