The Croatian Ministry of Economy has granted Mostar Airport 284.127 euros for the financing of the project “Connected for Growth: Mostar Airport as a catalyst for entrepreneurship and prosperity of the Croatian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. The Ministry had previously launched a public call under the Support Programme for Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, aimed at stimulating local economic development in 2025. The Herzegovina-Neretva Canton applied under this call with a project focused on creating new, supportive conditions for entrepreneurs and craftspeople through the development of entrepreneurial space within Mostar Airport’s terminal building. “With the funds approved for the co-financing of this project, the government is supporting Mostar Airport’s efforts to convert the economic potential of air transport, tourism and international connectivity into tangible benefits for local small and medium-sized enterprises”, the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton government said in a statement.
