The possibility of restoring direct flights between Pakistan and the United States has gained momentum as communication between the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) moves forward.
According to Samaa News, citing sources, the FAA has finalized its plans for an official visit to Pakistan. During the visit, the American delegation will hold key meetings with CAA officials and inspect the authority’s headquarters.
Discussions will focus on evaluating Pakistan’s aviation standards and exploring the pathway to resume direct flight operations between the two countries.
The development marks a positive step toward restoring direct air travel, which has remained suspended for several years.
