Orient Express recently revealed deployment plans for 2027, which include the maiden season of its second vessel, the Orient Express Olympian.

According to a press release, the ship will offer itineraries in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, along with its sister ship, the Orient Express Corinthian.

Currently under construction at the Chantier Naval de Marseille in France, the Olympian will kick off its inaugural season in late May with a series of itineraries in the Western Mediterranean.

The 108-passenger ship then embarks on a repositioning voyage to Northern Europe in early July, marking a first for the company.

As part of its second summer season, the Orient Express Corinthian offers the brand’s first itineraries in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Orient Express said that its 2027 deployment in the Mediterranean is highlighted by a wide range of ports of call in the Côte d’Azur, the Italian Riviera and the Adriatic, as well as Greece and Türkiye.

As part of its maiden season in Northern Europe, the company is set to offer itineraries to the British Isles, Scandinavia, the North Sea and the Baltic.

In addition to ports like Copenhagen and Honfleur, the Olympian is set to offer cruises departing from Downtown London.

Other highlights of the season in the region include itineraries to the Norwegian Fjords, the Danish Straits and St. Malo, from which guests will be able to visit the Mont-Saint-Michel abbey.

“The new itineraries lead to destinations that are both iconic and carefully selected, combining curated cultural encounters, preserved shorelines, bespoke experiences, gastronomy imagined by multi-Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno, and wellness moments crafted by Guerlain,” the company added.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the company’s first ship, the Orient Express Corinthian, is set to enter service in May 2026.
