A new private airline is preparing to enter Pakistan’s aviation market, with flight operations expected to begin in the coming months
Officials said the Pakistan Airports Authority has coordinated with the carrier and completed the necessary arrangements ahead of the launch. The airline has finalized aircraft leasing agreements and is likely to start regular services in May or June this year.
The company will begin with domestic routes, connecting major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sukkur, Multan, Quetta, and Peshawar.
After establishing its domestic network, the airline plans to expand to international destinations within a year.
The new entrant, operating under the name Air Karachi, is expected to add competition to the aviation sector and offer passengers more travel choices across the country.
