Avora Residences, a new luxury residential cruise brand, has launched its website and unveiled details of its inaugural vessel Lumina, scheduled to debut in January 2028, sailing from Lisbon, Portugal.

The brand announced a strategic marketing alliance with Villa Vie Residences in late January, positioning Avora as the luxury counterpart to Villa Vie’s contemporary residential offering, according to the company.

“Luxury today is defined by access and freedom,” said Mikael Petterson, founder and chairman of Villa Vie Residences. “This alliance expands both.”

Lumina will offer seven villa categories ranging from 301 to 1,173 square feet.

Full ownership prices start at $545,000 for a Dawn Villa and range up to $4,288,000 for a Lumina Villa. Five-year ownership options begin at $219,600.

Monthly fees range from $8,355 for single occupancy in a Dawn Villa to $28,525 for single occupancy in a Lumina Villa.

All residences include marble bathrooms, 24-hour room service, personal safes, espresso machines and unlimited WiFi. Villa categories include Dawn Villa, Radiance Villa, Solstice Villa, Daybreak Villa, Aura Villa, Eclipse Villa and Lumina Villa.

The vessel will feature multiple dining venues with world-class chefs, unlimited spa access including sauna, hot tub and steam room, a fitness center with yoga classes, live theater, art gallery, guest lectures, business center and Starlink internet connectivity.

Premium cocktails, wine, beer and barista coffee are included, along with white glove housekeeping and laundry service twice weekly, personal concierge service, all gratuities and port charges.

Through the alliance with Villa Vie, residents of both brands will have reciprocal access privileges.
