I connected to NH44 and made my way towards Dindigul. The heat was pretty extreme from then on.

BHPian JSaarinen recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Last Saturday, I rode my Aprilia RS 457 from Trivandrum to Bangalore in a day, roughly 700 kms.

Route taken was Trivandrum-Kulathupuzha-Thenmala-Tenkasi- Tirumangalam- Dindigul- Karur-Salem-Krishnagiri-Bangalore.

Started by 5:30am from Trivandrum and rode the wonderfully twisty roads towards Kulathupuzha.

Fringed by forests and the Kulathupuzha River, the views along the way are scenic.

Further ahead, I crossed Thenmala and came across the 13 Kannara bridge, built during the British era.

Built to connect the highlands of Kerala to Madurai by rail to transport spices and tea, this engineering marvel has stood the test of time.

I crossed the Aryankavu ghats and the paddy fields and fertile plains of Schenkottai and Tenkasi welcomed me with open arms.

Somewhere close to Rajapalayam.

The greenery slowly vanished to reveal more arid landscapes as we move further away from the foothills of the Western Ghats towards Madurai.

Connected to NH44 and made my way towards Dindigul. The heat was pretty extreme from then on.

The Aprilia gobbled up the miles ahead.

Relished an Ambur biryani near Hosur and made my way to Bangalore.

By approximately 7:30pm after battling the city traffic, reached home, with slightly sore wrists but content!
