Delta Air Lines said it is extending the suspension of its Tel Aviv routes from New York and Atlanta through Sept. 5, citing ongoing security concerns. The airline also postponed the launch of its planned Boston route indefinitely.
Lufthansa Group said its airlines — Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines — will suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv through May 31. Eurowings and Lufthansa Cargo will halt operations to Israel through April 30.
United Airlines has canceled flights to Tel Aviv through June 14.
Several other carriers have announced shorter suspensions. British Airways and LOT Polish Airlines said flights will remain suspended through May 31, while Air Canada extended cancellations through May 2.
Aegean Airlines has halted flights through April 22, and Ethiopian Airlines through April 16. Etihad Airways also suspended flights through April 16.
Wizz Air said it is suspending flights through April 7, while ITA Airways and Air Europa canceled flights through April 10.
Additional airlines including Air France, KLM, Iberia Express and Flydubai have suspended flights through late March or April. Norwegian Air has delayed its return to Israel until June 15, while easyJet said it will not operate flights to Tel Aviv during the summer season.
