Changes are coming to the new Magic Kingdom parade…AGAIN!

The Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is getting another time change later this month, and it could affect how you plan your Magic Kingdom nights. Let’s take a look at the new showtimes!

We often have to remind Disney vacationers not to assume that the Magic Kingdom’s parade and show times happen at the same time each day. In fact, we have seen a lot of parade and showtime changes in the past due to differing park hours and changing sunset times. Disney schedules are subject to change — which has happened once again with Magic Kingdom’s newest parade!

Back in August, the special nighttime parade ran at 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM. However, the times changed on August 31st, and Magic Kingdom has been running the show at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM — moving up the times 30 minutes earlier.

Now, Disney will be changing the showtimes again! Starting on September 15th, the nighttime parade will start another 30 minutes earlier, making the showtimes 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Magic Kingdom’s firework show, Happily Ever After, will also see a time shift. On September 15th, the fireworks will begin at 9:00 PM. The new times for the parade and fireworks are posted on the My Disney Experience app and the Disney website, but only go as far as October 4th at this time. That said, we aren’t expecting another change immediately after that date; we should expect these to be the showtimes for the foreseeable future.

If you’re planning on checking out the brand-new parade, make sure to check the schedule ahead of time. The Disney Starlight parade and Happily Ever After aren’t shown on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights, so keep that in mind.
