Some major changes are coming to Disney World in February.

Dinosaur

Disney World is in a big state of transition, with multiple attractions having closed to make way for new rides, new restaurants, and new lands. But more closures are on the way. Here’s the full list of offerings that are officially closing in February 2026.

DINOSAUR

Starting out the list strong, we’ve got the one ride that’s closing in February 2026 — DINOSAUR. This attraction has been loved by thriil enthusiasts for decades, but sadly, we must say goodbye to it to make way for the new Tropical Americas overhaul.

The ride is getting replaced with a new Indiana Jones-themed attraction featuring an all-new storyline. If they keep the same ride system that DINOSAUR had, the ride will share some similarities with Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland Park.

The Dino Institute Shop

At the exit of DINOSAUR is its corresponding store, The Dino Institute gift shop. This place has been home to tech souvenirs and fun dinosaur novelties for the past several years.

We’ll be sad to see it go, but we know that Disney can’t resist a themed gift shop, so we’re hoping we’ll get a new one in its place. The only problem is — where will we get our dino novelties now?!

Restaurantosaurus

One of the biggest losses with the closure of DinoLand, U.S.A. is Restaurantosaurus. This quick service spot serves your typical theme park burgers, fries, and chicken tenders menu, and we LOVE it for that.

Restaurantosaurus Ordering Area

The theming is quirky and fun, and there’s usually plenty of indoor, air-conditioned seating to be found. Whatever dining location that comes to this land in the future will have massive shoes to fill.

Restaurantosaurus Lounge

Attached to Restaurantosaurus is Restaurantosaurus Lounge, which will also be closing in February. This is a spot where you can grab a quick cocktail as you walk around the land, and many of them are dino-themed.

In recent years, we’ve enjoyed the personable bartenders here and even some fun live entertainment on occasion. Fingers crossed that we get something similiar in Pueblo Esperanza.

Trilo-Bites

Another dining location that’ll be closing is Trilo-Bites, which is where you can currently find the popular Buffalo Chicken Chips and some rotating Dole Whip options.

Trilo-Bites

This spot is located just on the edge of DinoLand, but with it on the chopping block, maybe that’ll open up more land and possibilities for the Tropical Americas.

Dino-Bite Snacks

The last dining location on the list is Dino-Bite Snacks, which is right next to Restaurantosaurus. They are known for their ice cream treats, primarily their ice cream sandwiches.

We’ll be sad to see this one go, simply because those sandwiches are spectacular on a hot day in the parks. Bring them somewhere else, please, Disney!

Multiple Character Meets

As DinoLand has been closing in phases, character meets have been moving around to new areas. But with the final closing in February, it looks like we’re going to lose some of our beloved meet-and-greets, and some really adorable character costumes.

Donald and Daisy

We’ll definitely shed some tears about losing Chip and Dale in their dino outfits and Daisy and Donald in their stylish looks. Hopefully, we’ll see these characters moved elsewhere.

Note that all of these things will have their last day of operations on February 1st, 2026. As of February 2nd, they’ll be gone forever!
