Sesame Place Philadelphia in Langhorne recently hired Bucks County native Michael Taylor to be the new president of the amusement park.
Langhorne’s Sesame Place Philadelphia recently selected Michael Taylor, a Bucks County native, to be the park’s new president, writes Damon C. Williams for USA Today.
Taylor’s primary role will be to oversee and improve the overall quality of the amusement park. This includes adding new food offerings at Sesame Place, improving wait times for the almost 50 attractions and finding ways to add more value to the season passes.
Taylor has already acted in leadership roles at Sesame Place. He previously served as the Director of Park Operations and established the Park Quality Department initiative.
This return to the park is a dream come true for Taylor.
“Visiting the park with my children helps me see firsthand how we can make this the greatest theme park in the Northeast,” he said in a press release. “I’m thrilled to be back. Sesame Place Philadelphia is a generational experience, and I’m honored to lead a destination that brings so much joy to so many families.”
“I look forward to creating the same unforgettable, exceptional experiences I had at the park as a child, an Ambassador, and now as a dad,” he continued.
