Aegean sets sights on Mauritius and Seychelles

After India, the next stops for Aegean Airlines are Mauritius and the Seychelles.

The Greek carrier’s plan to expand its network to more distant markets, such as Southeast Asia and Africa, is now in full swing.

In this context, the airline recently received approval from the Civil Aviation Authority to operate regular routes on the Athens-Port Louis (Mauritius) routes with three weekly flights and Athens-Victoria (Seychelles) with four weekly flights.

Securing this possibility signals that these exotic destinations are now part of Aegean’s future planning and are included in the potential destinations it seeks to serve in the coming years, though not next year.
