Air Serbia has launched a new advertising campaign on New York’s Times Square, marking almost a decade since its first major appearance in one of the world’s busiest pedestrian locations. Over the coming period, Air Serbia and “Visit Serbia” promo videos will be played in Times Square. “We are proud of the moments when the name of Serbia can be seen in the heart of New York”, the Serbian Embassy in the United States said in a statement. Air Serbia welcomed 37.503 passengers on its Belgrade – New York service during the first half of the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 19.3%. The figure represents its best result on the route on record, eclipsing its previous best set in 2023. The airline added an extra 6.076 travellers. It increased its capacity by 3.734 seats over the same period.
