AirSial has launched direct flights from Lahore and Islamabad to Abu Dhabi, opening new travel options for Pakistani passengers heading to the UAE.

Abu Dhabi Airports confirmed the start of the service on Wednesday, noting that the new routes will facilitate smoother travel for the large Pakistani community that frequently flies between Pakistan and the Emirates.

Under the new schedule, AirSial will operate three weekly flights from Lahore to Zayed International Airport (AUH) and four weekly flights from Islamabad. Officials said the addition strengthens economic and social links between Pakistan and the UAE, two countries with long-standing ties.

The inaugural flight landed at Zayed International Airport with a streamlined 12-minute gate-to-curb arrival process and access to more than 160 retail outlets for travelers.

Elena Sorlini, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, said the launch aligns with Abu Dhabi’s strategy to expand connectivity and better serve diverse communities, including Pakistani expatriates. She said the new partnership enhances access, supports trade, and improves travel convenience.

AirSial Chairman Fazal Jilani said that expanding into Abu Dhabi marks a major milestone for the airline. He said the new route creates an important bridge for families, businesses, and travelers who rely on frequent connections between Pakistan and the UAE.

AirSial, backed by Sialkot’s business community, continues to grow its international footprint as it joins Abu Dhabi’s expanding global network.
