According to a recent survey from YouGov, 20% of UK travellers are comfortable using AI for holiday trip planning.
It shows around one third of Millenials and GenZ now doing so.
This is good news for ski holiday companies, ahead of the 2025-26 ski season, ski chalet package brand Ski Beat, says.
“The now commonplace use of AI tech is directly leading to an upsurge in the popularity of holiday types that particularly appeal to younger, internet users.”
The company’s Laura Hazell continues, “AI is changing the way we choose and book our holidays and driving more demand for previously niche activities”.
For example, while only around 8% of adults in the UK have been on a snow sports holiday, there are 90% of 25–34-year-olds reportedly now wanting to go skiing.”
“AI is creating greater awareness of holiday choices and will provide the information needed to help plan and book.”
Ski Beat says the majority of France ski chalet holidays are booked online, and ‘we are increasingly using AI to help users find our site and help to make the right ski holiday choices.’
For this season, it is seeing an increase in bookings from younger, and first-time skiers.
Ski Beat chalet holidays include a chalet host to prepare meals, return flights from London Gatwick or Manchester, and transfers.
