A high-speed passenger ship experienced a mechanical failure in the port of Piraeus on Saturday morning, shortly before its scheduled departure.

The Flying Cat 3 catamaran, with 340 passengers on board, was scheduled to travel to Poros, Hydra, Ermioni and Spetses.

The company that owns the catamaran said it will find alternative travel arrangements for its passengers.
