Heads up, Disney fans! One Lightning Lane is going to be much more difficult to get coming up soon.

Disney recently confirmed that on September 21st, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT will once again play one song and one song only: “September” by Earth, Wind, & Fire. But, that means you might have a hard time securing a Lightning Lane for the ride on that date!
Instead of hearing one of six songs on the typical playlist for this ride, on September 21st, only “September” will be played! You know, to commemorate the “twenty-first night of September” as the song does. This is a fun little holiday Disney has celebrated over the past few years, but it does draw some crowds!

In past years, we’ve seen demand for Cosmic Rewind increase on September 21st, and Lightning Lanes can be hard to secure! If you’re planning on trying to ride Cosmic Rewind on Sunday, you’ll need to try and snag those Lightning Lanes early.
Of course, you can always wait in the standby line now, too.

This is the first September 21st since the line for Cosmic Rewind switched from being a Virtual Queue to a regular standby queue with a wait, so it will be interesting to see just how long the line truly gets. We’ll be in the park on Sunday, making sure we get a ride or two in and documenting the crowds, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest info.

Cosmic Rewind is available as a standby queue, or with Lightning Lane Single Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
