Avast, maties! Walt Disney World has officially shared a first look at their exciting new Magic Kingdom restaurant, The Beak and Barrel, set to open inside the park this coming August 29.

Modeled after the maritime adventurers of the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, The Beak and Barrel promises to deliver a fittingly nautical spin on a traditional Disney World eatery.

In a major departure for the beloved theme park company, the new tavern-inspired restaurant also marks the first Magic Kingdom dining hall to feature alcohol inside the park.

With reservations inside the restaurant set to open on August 14, the Disney Parks Blog has offered visitors a glimpse inside the fascinating new restaurant, including an in-depth look at some of The Beak and Barrel’s many mouthwatering dishes and thirst-quenching beverages.

In terms of its food offerings, The Beak and Barrel has a few memorable options, including the Island Provisions sampler. Borrowing inspiration from traditional Caribbean and South American cuisine, the Island Provisions features a motley mix of plantain chips, corn tortillas and toasted flatbread alongside several assorted dipping sauces.

For those in the mood for a solo meal, there’s also the Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes. A warmed corn cake crammed with melted cheese, lime-flavored sour cream and hot chili peppers, diners can choose to order their corn cakes with either roasted corn and poblano peppers or chipotle-braised chicken.

As delicious as its food sounds, it’s The Beak and Barrel’s beverages that take center stage in the extravagant new menu. These include the Salty Seas mARRRgarita, the white rum-infused Siren’s Whisper, the bourbon-based Barrels Ablaze and the tropical Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale.

Alternatively, for buccaneers interested in a non-alcoholic beverage, The Beak and Barrel offers two refreshing drinks in the form of the Treasure Trove and the Cursed Treasure.

The Treasure Trove specifically features a mix of ube, lemon and coconut, along with various memorable side dishes like a vanilla cake-based plank, a chocolate cannonball and gold-tinted caramel popcorn.

The Cursed Treasure, on the other hand, features a blend of coconut milk and cookie crumbs decked out with vanilla foam and a chocolate cookie modeled after the ominous Aztec treasure of Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.
