Freswick Castle, John o’ Groats
Freswick Castle is situated in a remote position overlooking the waters of Freswick Bay in the hamlet of Freswick. The Grade A listed tower house, which was built upon the foundations of a 12th century Viking settlement, features six bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 guests.
The castle includes a wide range of period features, with its main hall traditionally decorated with exposed stonework and an open fire. Elsewhere, there is a party room, a hidden chapel, and an enclosed garden.

The Pink Castle, Largs
This restored castle, which dates back to the 14th century, offers sea views out to the Isles of Arran and Bute. It includes four bedrooms, sleeping as many as eight guests.

Kinnairdy Castle is a 14th century castle that is set on extensive grounds near the Aberdeenshire town of Huntly. The accommodation sleeps up to seven guests across four bedrooms.
The castle’s living areas include original features such as stained-glass windows and a vaulted ceiling in the dining room. Outside, there is a sizeable courtyard and a garden area with seating and a barbecue, as well as grassed areas for little ones to play on.

Cats Castle can be found beyond the western edge of Dumbarton near Glasgow. The property, which was built in 1888, has five bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 visitors.
