About 90 Greeks traveling with 100 pets were repatriated from the Persian Gulf Wednesday on a special Aegean Airlines flight arranged by the Foreign Ministry.

The plane left Abu Dhabi after days of uncertainty following the closure of airspace in several Gulf countries and drone attacks in the area. The travelers and their cats and dogs were welcomed by relatives and friends at Athens International Airport.
