NEWS RELEASE

CANADA’S WONDERLAND

**************************

For its 20th season, Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland is taking the fright factor to a new level with the introduction of The Conjuring: Beyond Fear, an interactive, SCREAMium experience. Taking place select nights Sept. 27 to Nov. 1, Halloween Haunt will also feature six haunted mazes, seven immersive scare zones, thrilling night rides and, for the first time ever, the event will now be included with all park tickets and season passes.

The Conjuring: Beyond Fear – New Interactive Attraction

This new SCREAMium experience will have guests navigate iconic scenes from New Line Cinema’s The Conjuring Universe to lock away cursed artifacts before supernatural chaos is unleashed. Guests will encounter legendary entities such as The Nun, The Crooked Man, and The Ferryman as they race to restore order and lock Annabelle back in her secure box—or risk catastrophic consequences for the living realm. With state-of-the-art effects, screen-to-scream

environments, and a series of chilling interactive challenges in an experience spanning more than twenty minutes, The Conjuring: Beyond Fear* plunges guests deeper than ever before into The Conjuring Universe.

Halloween Haunt Event Updates

For the first time in the event’s history, Halloween Haunt will not require a separate ticket for entry. This means that a single fall admission will provide guests daytime and nighttime park access, including events Camp Spooky, Oktoberfest and Halloween Haunt.

On weekends in the fall, the park will remain open morning through night without a break in between. Also new for this year, haunted mazes will only be accessible to guests with the purchase of a Haunted Attraction Pass. The introduction of this event pass reflects a new chapter of scares at Halloween Haunt, driven by haunted maze enhancements and the introduction of new scares designed to improve the guest experience during this event. Those seeking the heartpounding terror of the park’s haunted mazes can enhance their visit with the purchase of a Haunted Attractions Pass, while those seeking night rides, scare zones and live entertainment only require park Admission. The Conjuring: Beyond Fear is not included with the Haunted Attractions Pass and is an extra-charge experience.

At Canada’s Wonderland, the safety of guests and associates is a key priority. For Halloween Haunt, the park is implementing a chaperone policy to help ensure that all guests have a fun and enjoyable experience. More details will be released soon.

More Fall Fun for Families and Foodies

After summer ends, the fun continues at Canada’s Wonderland. Guests can enjoy a traditional Bavarian festival with Oktoberfest, returning Sept. 6-7, 12-14 and 19-21. The event features authentic schnitzel, German sausage and giant pretzels, plus craft beers in Oktoberfest steins, live polka bands, street performers and more.

And Camp Spooky is back for family-friendly Halloween fun on weekends Sept. 27 to Nov. 2. This event features scare-free attractions including kids’ mazes, trick-or-treat adventures, live music, pumpkin decorating, a costume parade and live shows with The PEANUTS®.
