Four senior citizens of an Indian-origin family have gone missing during a road trip from New York to Pennsylvania, with police yet to trace them since they were last spotted on July 29.
According to reports, the four senior citizens – Dr Kishore Divan (89), Asha Divan (85), Shailesh Divan (86), and Gita Divan (84) – were last seen at a Burger King outlet on Peach Street in Erie, Pennsylvania, on July 29. Their last credit card transaction also occurred at this location.
They were on their way to the Palace of Gold in Marshall County. The Palace of Gold is a famous religious place developed by disciples of Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON.

The two elderly men and their wives were travelling in a light green Toyota Camry, which had a New York licence plate (EKW2611).
They had planned to stay at the Palace of Gold on Tuesday night. However, according to a report by WTRF.com, police confirmed that the group never checked in.
Local media reported that none of the individuals had answered their phones since July 29. Cell tower data last picked up signals from their devices around 3 am on Wednesday in Moundsville.
Marshall County Sheriff Mike Dougherty said they had intensified search efforts with helicopters and deployed additional teams.
“We have a few leads that we and surrounding law enforcement agencies are investigating, but have not yet located the missing persons,” Dougherty told WTOV News9.
In June, a 24-year-old Indian woman, identified as Simran, went missing shortly after her arrival in New Jersey for an arranged marriage.
Investigators had said the women might not have intended to marry and could have used the opportunity to make a free trip to America.
