Jadrolinija
Croatian ferry operator Jadrolinija has announced the temporary cancellation of sailings on its international Split–Ancona route between 13 May and 2 July 2026.
The decision will affect a total of 15 planned sailings during the period.
Services on the Split–Bari and Dubrovnik–Bari international routes will continue according to the published sailing schedule.
Jadrolinija said the move was made in response to a significant increase in operational costs, particularly fuel prices, as well as ongoing supply chain challenges.
The company stated that the temporary reduction in some commercial international sailings is aimed at optimising operating costs and adjusting the scope of services to current market conditions.
Jadrolinija stressed that its main priority remains maintaining reliable and continuous connections between Croatia’s islands and the mainland, which it described as essential for the daily functioning of island communities.
According to the company, the adjustments are intended to preserve long-term business stability while continuing to provide safe and high-quality services for passengers.
Passengers who have already purchased tickets for the affected sailings will be entitled to refunds.
Jadrolinija apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused and thanked customers for their understanding and trust.
