Pakistan Railways has announced the launch of a special tourist train service to promote tourism in the Thar Desert region.

The tourist train will operate from Karachi to Khokhrapar Zero Point, offering passengers an opportunity to experience the scenic beauty of Thar. The journey will begin from Karachi Cantonment Station and travel through Chhor before reaching Zero Point.

According to Pakistan Railways, the tourist train will depart from Karachi Cantt Station at 9:00 am on December 20. The train is scheduled to arrive in Chhor at 5:00 pm the same day.

Arrangements have been made for passengers staying overnight in Chhor, including camping facilities, a bonfire, music, and dinner. Railway officials stated that passengers who pay an additional fee will be provided accommodation at a guest house.

On December 21, the train will depart from Chhor at 7:00 am and head towards Zero Point. Passengers will be served breakfast at Zero Point and will be given time to visit nearby tourist and recreational sites.

After completing the tour, the train will return to Karachi by 6:00 pm on the same day.
