Amid flood-like conditions in different parts of the country, Pakistan Railways has announced temporary changes to train routes and halted advance and online booking at several stations.
As per the notification, booking for the Pakistan Express will remain suspended at Alipur Chattha, Hafizabad, Sangla Hill, Chak Jhumra, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Gojra, Shorkot, and Abdul Hakim.
For the Millat Express, bookings have been suspended at Dinga, Lala Musa, Mandi Bahauddin, Malikwal, Sargodha, Chenab, Faisalabad, Gojra, and Toba Tek Singh.
Similarly, reservations for the Rehman Baba Express are not available at Alipur Chattha, Hafizabad, Sangla Hill, Faisalabad, and Toba Tek Singh, while Hazara Express bookings are suspended at Dinga, Mandi Bahauddin, Malikwal, Sargodha, Jhang, and Shorkot.
Railway authorities stated that the step has been taken in the interest of passenger safety and to avoid inconvenience. Services will resume at the affected stations once the situation stabilizes.
