The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is expanding its international network with the launch of a new direct route between Lahore and Manchester.
According to the airline, the service will begin in early July with one weekly flight in each direction, operated using a Boeing 777 aircraft. The Manchester to Lahore flight (PK710) will operate every Friday, departing at 7:30 PM and arriving in Lahore at 7:30 AM after an eight-hour journey.
The flight from Lahore to Manchester (PK709) will operate every Saturday, departing at 12:25 PM and arriving in Manchester at 5:00 PM, with a flight duration of approximately eight hours and 35 minutes.
The development comes as PIA continues to rebuild its international operations following the resumption of flights to key destinations. Earlier, the airline restarted direct flights from Lahore to London on March 30 after a gap of six years, following the lifting of restrictions on Pakistani carriers.
PIA has also launched three weekly flights from Islamabad to London, signaling a gradual expansion of its UK operations.
