A Pakistan International Airlines flight en route from Lahore to Karachi was forced to head back shortly after departure following a bird strike, officials confirmed.
Flight PK-305 encountered the incident moments after takeoff when a bird hit the aircraft, reportedly impacting one of its engines. In response, the pilot promptly decided to return and carried out a safe landing at Lahore Airport.
More than 200 passengers were on board at the time, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. Authorities will now carry out a detailed technical examination of the aircraft to assess any damage caused by the strike.
