Questions remain over purchase of private jet and commercial viability of Air Punjab

ISLAMABAD — Pakistan’s provincial government of Punjab will launch its own airline this year to smooth connectivity between the region’s cities and other destinations in and out of the country, after the federal government last year privatized its debt-ridden national flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
