Since the outbreak of the war, a long list of foreign airlines have announced cancellations or suspensions of flights to Israel amid the security escalation in the region and the closure of Israeli airspace. Some carriers said the cancellations would last only a few days, while others have already extended the suspension for a longer period.

Flydubai said Sunday it had extended the cancellation of its flights to Tel Aviv through the end of April. The move also affects passengers in Asia who had planned to connect to Israel through the airline. Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said it was suspending its flights to Israel until March 29.

Germany’s Lufthansa Group — which includes Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings — said it would suspend flights to Tel Aviv until April 2. British Airways canceled its flights to Tel Aviv until March 28.

Italy’s ITA Airways said it was suspending flights to Tel Aviv until March 8 and would also avoid flying through Israeli airspace and other areas in the region for the time being. Iberia Express, the low-cost subsidiary of the IAG airline group, canceled all flights to Tel Aviv until March 28.

Poland’s LOT Polish Airlines said all flights to Tel Aviv were canceled until March 18. Greece’s Aegean Airlines said it was suspending flights to Tel Aviv until March 29, while Latvia’s airBaltic canceled all flights to the city until March 28.

Spain’s Air Europa canceled flights to Tel Aviv until March 9, and Greek carrier Sky Express canceled flights until March 31. Air France canceled its Tel Aviv flights until March 20, while Dutch carrier KLM said it was suspending its flights until March 28.

Romanian airline AnimaWings canceled its flights to Israel until March 31. Flydubai said earlier that its flights to Israel were canceled until March 28. Air India canceled its flights to Israel until March 31, while Ethiopian Airlines canceled flights to Tel Aviv until March 28.

United Airlines canceled its flights from the United States to Tel Aviv through March 11, while Delta Air Lines said it was canceling its New York–Tel Aviv route until April 1. Air Canada said it was suspending flights to Tel Aviv through May 2.

Norwegian Air said it had postponed the resumption of its flights to Israel until June 15. Etihad Airways suspended its flights to Tel Aviv until March 20, while easyJet said it would not operate flights to Tel Aviv during the upcoming summer season.
