It’s no secret that Rapunzel’s hair is the stuff of legend, but even we didn’t realize that those golden locks of this Disney Princess, specifically from the Rapunzel Audio-Animatronics figure from Tokyo DisneySea, would catch the eye of some crows and cause them to rip it out to help build their nests.
As reported online by those like @ssj5m2 on X/Twitter, videos show some crows ripping the hair off the Tangled star, who sits in her tower as an outdoor introduction to Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival attraction in Fantasy Springs.

Luckily, Disney has already temporarily removed the figure to get her back to how she was pre-crow attack, but this incident does highlight the potential dangers of having a figure like this outdoors!
Rapunzel wasn’t the only character having some troubles at Disney Parks this week, as the next-generation robotic figure of Olaf at Disneyland Paris’ World of Frozen also malfunctioned. The Frozen star stopped during a public appearance and fell backward in an adorable fashion that also saw his carrot nose go flying.
Both of these figures are beyond impressive and bring us closer to these stories we love and, just like us, sometimes hit bumps on the road!
