Dozens of Serene Air employees have launched a protest after going three consecutive months without salaries. Workers confirmed on Wednesday that the non-payment has pushed them into severe financial distress.

Pilots, air hostesses, and ground staff said the airline stopped paying salaries after suspending operations in September. They said daily expenses and household needs have become impossible to manage.

Employees claimed that the management repeatedly promised to clear dues but failed to fulfill a single commitment. They warned that they will not return to duty until all pending salaries are paid.

Workers also threatened to escalate their protest into a full-scale demonstration if immediate action is not taken. They said all work would remain halted until their demands are met and urged the management to honour its promises without further delay.
