Serenité Now!
If you’re looking for a getaway that combines the ease of a short drive with the luxury of a high-end resort—and enough space for the entire family—there’s a new, private residence club about two hours from NYC that you’ll want to check out.
Serenité Private Residence Club, nestled in the Pocono Mountains, might just be your next favorite escape. My family—six adults—recently stayed there, and it exceeded all expectations.
Tucked into the scenic heart of the Poconos, this exclusive property felt like a private mountain retreat, but with all the upscale comforts of a luxury hotel.
The best part? We were all together under one roof, without having to book several, small and separated rooms like you would in a traditional hotel.

The Poconos has long been a favorite for tri-state families looking to escape the city for a weekend of fresh air and natural beauty.
But Serenité has brought a new level of luxury and ease to the region. As the first high-end private residence club built in the Poconos in over two decades, it blends the rustic charm of a mountain escape with premium amenities and white-glove service.
It’s ideal for big families like mine—or for any group that wants to vacation together without sacrificing space, comfort, or style.
We stayed in a five-bedroom condo, which gave everyone the best of both worlds: shared time together under one roof, and plenty of privacy when needed. I highly recommend it, as it could’ve easily slept 12 if my niece and nephews joined us.
Everything was clean, spacious, and calm—a perfect pause to recharge for a couple of days. The entire experience was smooth, from the moment we checked in to the moment we (reluctantly) left.

Most of the bedrooms in our residence were en suite, and our particular unit had welcoming common areas where we watched movies and played Pictionary and Monopoly—a nice break from electronic devices.
Each bedroom offered its own peaceful retreat, while the shared living spaces were thoughtfully designed and ideal for winding down after a day of exploring nearby restaurants, escape rooms, and scenic overlooks.
From morning coffee on the balcony with sweeping mountain views to game nights in the living room, it felt like home—but better.
One of our favorite spots was the pool area, complete with a massive fire pit and sauna. There was a heated lap lane (heated all four seasons), oversized hot tub, granite fire table, and swim deck.
Everything felt meticulously thought out and built with high-quality standards in mind.

In addition to our beautiful condo and pool area, there were other amenities like a private clubhouse and spa, offering personalized wellness experiences and a serene space to unwind.
However, there was no time to try them first hand— a reason to return, and when we do, we will have hiking trails and ski slopes to explore.
Even though we spent plenty of time trying some of the restaurants nearby, the best moments of the trip were spent right in our condo—surrounded by nature, talking and joking around, before and after dinners, in the safety under one roof.
To reserve, visit Serenité website, as the residences are structured as a private club model, offering vacation homes without the stress of ownership or maintenance.

From Staten Island, the drive to Serenité took just over two hours, making it a quick but transformative escape.
We left the city behind and were welcomed by crisp mountain air, peaceful surroundings, and accommodations that truly offered a sense of peace and tranquility.
Whether you’re planning a multigenerational vacation, a couples’ retreat, or a winter ski trip, Serenité Private Residence Club is a destination worth looking into.
It’s refined, relaxed, and remarkably close to home. Please not this is not a sponsored review; I am just sharing in case these accommodations fit the needs of other large families, like it did mine.
