Six Flags is making it cheaper to experience their heart-racing thrills, frighteningly fun Halloween festivities, and culinary delights.
Two heavily discounted all-access passes are available for a limited time, allowing parkgoers to entertain themselves at any of the 42 Six Flags parks across the nation through 2026.
The trick is that, in order to get a deal, the passes must be activated in-person. If purchased and activated in-person at Six Flags Great Adventure (New Jersey), the Gold Pass is $6.99 a month for 12 months and the Prestige Pass is $12.99 a month for 12 months.
Other Six Flags parks are offering even steeper discounts; Six Flags Great Escapes (Lake George, New York) is offering the Gold Pass for only $5.99 monthly, while the popular Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles has the same pass for a steeper $7.50 a month.
Six Flags Great Adventure is located in Jackson Township, New Jersey, and is the closest Six Flags park to Staten Island. It is open daily until Sept. 1, when it will transition into its autumn operating hours.
The move comes as the company battles to keep attendance levels up during a time where economic and weather conditions can make or break a trip to the amusement park.
The company’s latest report revealed that approximately 1.4 million fewer guests have visited the parks this year, representing a 9% decline.
This also follows the announcement that Six Flags will be closing one park and ending its popular holiday season offerings. However, recent trends suggest that the new pass program may be helping.
CEO Richard Zimmerman noted in the report that the launch “has produced solid early results,” with July attendance now exceeding 2024 figures.
