No Disney Cruise Line sailing can officially start until the sail away show. For the Disney Destiny, Electro causes some trouble before Spider-Man comes in to save the day.
Let’s Set Sail
The show starts off with the host welcoming everyone on board and introduces the dancers.
Dancers begin dancing to the Cupid Shuffle, but then the video screens glitch out almost immediately.
It’s Electro, and he wants to start some trouble. But, Spider-Man shows up to save the day. He swings down from the top of a funnel.
He disappears to fight Electro and appears on the screen to let us know he sent Electro for a swim.
Now that we are saved, it’s back to the dance party!
We are then introduced to the storytellers for this cruise, who help us find our destiny. Zayah is the one in the green outfit, and Gamble is in the purple.
Then, the Fab 5 plus Daisy come out and join the dance party with the other performers.
Mirabel and Bruno come out next, followed by Tiana, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, and Moana. They interact with the audience and the other dancers.
The ship director begins the countdown, and the ship horn plays a line from “When You Wish Upon A Star.” They all dance a bit more, and Captain Minnie welcomes everyone aboard for their Disney Cruise Line vacation.
