Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have issued a fresh advisory outlining diversion routes for commuters using Park Road, as construction work continues on the Margalla Enclave underpass and congestion is expected to persist in the surrounding areas.
As per the advisory, motorists travelling from Rawal Dam Chowk towards Tramri will be rerouted through NIH Road, passing via Mohra Noor, before merging back onto Park Road. The diversion is aimed at easing pressure on the affected construction stretch and maintaining traffic movement during peak hours.
For commuters heading in the opposite direction, traffic from Tramri towards Rawal Dam Chowk will be redirected from Chai Khana towards the CDA Nursery.
Authorities said vehicles will be guided back onto Park Road through two temporary roads laid alongside the iron grill to keep the flow moving while work is underway.

Officials also recommended an additional alternative for those travelling to Islamabad: Lehtrar Road to Khanna Pul and then onward via the Expressway, which may help drivers avoid the most crowded sections of Park Road.
With development activity continuing, authorities warned that traffic on Park Road is likely to remain under heavy pressure until the project is completed. Commuters have been advised to factor in 20 to 30 minutes of extra travel time and plan their journeys accordingly.
