Some UAE attractions announced closures amid regional tensions. Dubai’s Global Village will not be operational on 1 March as a safety measure, according to its official social media handle. No further details were provided by the popular family destination.
As a precaution and in coordination with national guidance, Jebel Jais and all its attractions, activities, and restaurants will be temporarily closed. Operations will resume when conditions allow. The Abrahamic Family House also announced the closure of all activities and the suspension of guided tours until further notice.

Another popular tourist spot, Dubai Parks and Resorts, announced that it will remain closed on Sunday, March 1, as a precautionary safety measure. Visitors are requested to check their social media pages for the latest information before visiting, including guidance relating to existing bookings and reopening.
The closures come amid heightened vigilance across the Emirate following recent regional security developments. Authorities and public venues have emphasised the importance of following official guidance and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of residents and visitors.
Global Village is a cultural destination in Dubai featuring pavilions that showcase the cultures and traditions of more than 90 countries. It typically operates as an open-air site, offering visitors spacious walkways and outdoor attractions.
Visitors planning to attend during Ramadan, the Global Village operates in the evenings. Gates open 5pm to 1am (Sunday–Wednesday) and 5pm to 2am (Thursday–Saturday), allowing residents and tourists to enjoy shopping, dining, and cultural events while observing Ramadan timings.
UAE is one of the Gulf countries under Iranian missile strike as Tehran targeted US assets across the region in retaliation for a joint attack on Iran by the US and Israel.
