The Cairo to Jeddah flight route is the second busiest international air route in the world for 2025 with 5.8 million seats, behind only Hong Kong-Taipei (6.8 million), according to the annual report from British aviation firm OAG.
The route is operated by 9 airlines and the flight time is 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Cairo, the capital and largest city of Egypt, is home to more than 10 million people.
Jeddah is known as Saudi’ cultural and commercial hub, famous for its Red Sea coastline, artistic energy, and the historic district of Al-Balad.
Kuala Lumpur-Singapore route ranked third, followed by Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Narita route.
Seoul Incheon- Osaka Kansai route rounded out the top five.
The rest of top 10 were Jakarta – Singapore Changi, Dubai – Riyadh, Bangkok – Hong Kong, Tokyo Narita – Taipei and New York JFK – London Heathrow.
