Ameesha Patel took to her Instagram story to share a new update about her travel. She wrote, “And the wait continues.. been stuck fr hours and hours at Dubai Airport and still stuck. Can’t wait to be back to Mumbai.”

For the unversed, Patel was travelling with DJ Chetas and Kunal Goomer when the situation unfolded dramatically mid-flight. Her aircraft was moments away from landing in Dubai when the UAE airspace was abruptly closed following reports of fresh missile attacks in the region. The flight was rerouted to Muscat, leaving passengers on board waiting anxiously for further information.The actress quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to keep her followers informed. She wrote, “On my way back to MUMBAI from NEW YORK on Emirates! As we were about to land in DUBAI the airspace closed in UAE due to fresh missile Attacks! We have now been diverted to MUSCAT n are awaiting further updates!! When will this WAR end!! Praying.”
